Emily Maita

Hi! I’m Emily Maita, a graphic designer specializing in y-o-u.
I have a passion for all things design, and strongly believe that good design = good business.

THE DOWN-LOW

Experience

I have been in the graphic design industry for 9 years with over 3,000 print & digital advertisements under my belt, and more than 200 logos for businesses of all sizes. I also worked as a Custom Production Designer at Shutterfly for 6 years before heading out on my own.

Location

Sugar Pine Design is based in Scottsdale, Arizona, but I design for individuals and businesses all over the world.

Education

I received a bachelor’s degree in Interdisciplinary Studies, with concentrations in Design Studies and Business from Arizona State University. I originally headed to college to pursue a career in interior design, but found that my true love for design shifted towards the graphic department, and there I stayed.

THE SUGAR PINE STORY

The Little Red Cabin

1_cabin.jpeg

Nestled on the North Shore of Lake Tahoe, California sits a little red cabin that my grandparents, Del & Agnes Kay, purchased in 1966. I have spent every summer (and some winters as you can see) of my existence at this pint-sized cabin in the woods. Surrounded by sugar pine trees, our little family cabin has always been a place of comfort and inspiration. It seemed fitting to name my business Sugar Pine Design - a place for my clients to also feel comfortable and inspired.
